The 2016 United States Presidential Election was a historic one on many fronts. The 2 candidates Donald Trump, and Hillary Clinton came from drastically different political backgrounds. Donald Trump was the 1st Presidential candidate to not come from a political background. Hillary Clinton was the 1st woman to run for President. Donald Trump defied the odds and won the 2016. Clinton was investigated by the FBI during the election for storing classified federal emails on a private serve. Trump was sued multiple times during and after the election. He had to settle his Trump University case for $25 Million after the election ended.
